Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Last updated 23 October 2026 · Moonfire Private Limited ("Moonfire", "we", "us")

Please read this note. We are continuing to improve our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, and we will update them whenever we think it is necessary. You must visit both pages regularly to check for changes. The version number and the "last updated" date above show which version is current. Whatever the current version says, you can permanently delete your account yourself, at any time, from the "Delete my account" page on your dashboard.

These terms govern your use of the Moonfire careers portal (the "ATS"). By creating an account, applying for a role or training program, or otherwise using the ATS, you accept them and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the ATS.

1. Who may use the ATS

You must be 18 or older and applying for yourself. You must give a working email address that you control.

2. Your account

3. Accurate and genuine information

Everything you submit must be true, complete and your own. This includes your name, contact details, qualifications, experience, résumé and photograph. You must not:

4. Verification

To protect candidates and our client companies from fraud, we verify applicants. This includes a review of your details, and a photograph of your face that is required before an application can move to the verification stage. How the photograph is used, stored, shared and deleted is set out in section 3 of the Privacy Policy. We do not ask candidates, by phone, by email or on this portal, for Aadhaar, PAN, passport or any other identification details, for bank account details, or for any OTP (the only code is the password reset code you request yourself, emailed to you and entered by you in the ATS, available once every 24 hours per account). We will never ask for your password, or for any money or payment.

After shortlisting. If your résumé is shortlisted and you wish to go further in the recruitment process, you must provide the details Moonfire HR reasonably requires when HR asks for them, for example identity proof and, on joining, bank details for payroll. Failing to provide them may mean your application cannot proceed. Check that any such request clearly comes from Moonfire HR (an @moonfiregroup.com address or the ATS), and email support@moonfiregroup.com if you are unsure. Treat any other request for these details as a scam.

Providing a photograph is voluntary, and you give your consent by ticking a box at the time you upload. Your photograph stays with Moonfire and is not sent to client companies. If the wording of this consent changes, we will ask you to agree again on your dashboard. Moonfire does not force anyone to apply. If you do not wish to provide a photograph, do not upload one and do not apply.

An application that cannot be verified may be paused, held, or rejected, at our discretion.

5. Applications, no guarantee

Submitting an application or completing verification is not an offer, a promise of an interview, or a promise of employment. Roles, requirements and openings may change or close at any time. Decisions on shortlisting and hiring rest with Moonfire and the client companies concerned.

Training programs are unpaid learning programs. A training certificate records completion of a program and is not an employment or internship record. We never charge a fee for applying for a role or for a program through the ATS. If anyone asks you for money in Moonfire's name, do not pay. Report it to support@moonfiregroup.com.

6. How to contact us

The ATS is the only channel for careers at Moonfire. For an issue or error, email support@moonfiregroup.com. Do not call us, and do not email résumés. Candidates who contact us by telephone or send résumés outside the ATS may have their application rejected and their account closed.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give Moonfire a limited right to store, process, review and, for roles you applied to, share your résumé and profile (never your photograph) with the relevant client companies, solely to handle your application and as described in the Privacy Policy. You promise you have the right to submit it.

8. Suspension and removal

We may suspend or delete an account, and reject or withdraw applications, where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, the information is false or unverifiable, or the account is being used to harm the ATS or others.

Deleting your own account. You can permanently delete your account yourself, at any time, from your dashboard. Deletion erases your account, résumé and photograph from Moonfire and cannot be undone. Moonfire does not process deletion requests manually and cannot restore a deleted account. If your résumé was already shared with a client company for a role you were shortlisted for, that company holds its own copy under its own policies, and deleting your account does not delete it. After deletion we keep only a one-way scrambled form of your email address and the date, for up to 180 days, solely to count deleted accounts and returning sign-ups. It is not used to refuse you.

9. Availability and liability

The ATS is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and secure but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Moonfire is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the ATS or from a hiring decision. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes to these terms and your duty to check

We are improving these terms and the Privacy Policy, and will update them whenever it seems necessary. We may not notify you individually. You must visit both pages regularly to see any changes, and the version number and "last updated" date at the top show the current version. Continued use of the ATS after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept a change, you can permanently delete your account yourself at any time from your dashboard.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, unless mandatory law gives you rights elsewhere.
