Moonfire is hiring a Prompt Engineer for a hybrid paid role in Pune, India. Start your career shaping how AI behaves. You will write and test prompts for chat, summarisation and extraction features, learning evaluation and good practice from senior engineers.
What you will do
- Write, test and refine prompts for product features
- Build small test sets and record how each change performs
- Spot and report incorrect, unsafe or inconsistent outputs
- Keep a clear library of tried prompts and results
What we are looking for
- 1 to 2 years of work or strong project experience with LLMs
- Basic Python and comfort with JSON
- Excellent written English
- Curious, careful and happy to iterate
Role details
- Level: Junior. This is a junior role, a good fit if you are early in your career.
- Location and work mode: Pune, India. A hybrid arrangement: part of the week in our Pune office, the rest from home.
- Pay: ₹6–11 LPA. Every Moonfire role and internship is paid.
