Moonfire is hiring a Principal AI Solutions Architect for a hybrid paid role in New York, United States. Design the AI systems our biggest customers rely on. You will turn business problems into reference architectures for LLM applications, retrieval, agents and data platforms, and guide teams building them.
What you will do
- Create reference architectures for LLM, retrieval and agent-based systems
- Run design reviews and set engineering standards for AI projects
- Advise customers on build-versus-buy, cost and risk
- Mentor senior engineers and architects
What we are looking for
- 10 or more years in software or solution architecture
- Proven delivery of production AI or ML systems
- Deep knowledge of at least one major cloud
- Confident presenting to technical and business leaders

- Level: Principal. This is a principal-level role, setting direction beyond a single team.
- Location and work mode: New York, United States. A hybrid arrangement: part of the week in our New York office, the rest from home.
- Pay: $190,000–240,000 / year. Every Moonfire role and internship is paid.
