Keep our client databases fast, safe and recoverable. You will be the person who notices a slow query before the client does.

What you will own

  • Installation, configuration and upgrades of MySQL and PostgreSQL
  • Backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures, including regular restore tests
  • Query tuning, indexing and capacity planning
  • Access control and audit of database users

What we are looking for

  • Four or more years administering relational databases in production
  • Strong SQL and comfort with execution plans
  • Experience with replication and high availability setups
  • Calm judgement during an incident
